Hey Everyone,

I am having to rewrite this because apparently copy and paste isn't functioning, so I am afraid this will be a brief version of a long story.

I am writing on behalf of my mother, who has suffered from extreme electromagnetic hypersensitivity for the past decade. She has exhibited neurological symptoms, tremors, and an excruciating muscle stiffness with little relief. She has been highly sensitive to wifi, towers, cell phones, microwaves, you name it. She has been rendered homebound and isolated, and has had to plan days of recovery for very short outings. She even reached the point of attempted suicide a few years back.

I recently moved to Denver, Colorado, which you likely know as a state with completely legalized marijuana products. As an oversimplified crash course, you might consider cannabis as having two star players: cbd and thc. THC makes a person high or stoned. CBD doesn't, but induces other strong effects such as relaxation and pain relief. After much research I decided my mom should try a product high in CBD and low in THC. Perhaps check out these links for further reference on the effects of CBD on the neurological system:

http://www.courant.com/features/hc-mommy-minute-0118-20160114-story.html

I am not exaggerating when I say that her symptoms improved almost immediately after taking one tablet with 5 mg of CBD and 0.33 mg of THC. The muscles of her shoulders and neck, which had been like concrete for ten years, loosened up right away. She's been taking it only for two weeks but I assure you, folks, that in this time my mother has gained back the active life she had mourned for a decade. She went to the movies. She mowed the lawn. She painted my house! Her electro sensitivity is down to such a level that she cannot feel wifi.

I want to make it very clear that I am not trying to sell anything. Obviously the legality of CBD extracts varies. I also want to warn against buying CBD extracts online. They can be found online legally as "cbd hemp oil"--this is extracted from hemp, NOT cannabis, and may very well be dangerous or not work at all.

I just wanted to share this experience in the hope that it might help somebody out there. I can hardly believe the improvement in quality of life I've seen in my mom, and it would be my greatest joy to spread it to others.

Denver10422,

We're aware of the copy/paste glitch and we're working on fixing it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yep we are now going on to cannabis and what are the long term effects?
Sorry!

Hi Denver,

On hearing your mum's remarkable story, I'm giving CBD oil a go myself.
It's been one week so far and no improvement so am hoping the second week is more fruitful.
I'm using a strain from Holland extracted from flowers so I know it's the real deal.
Will keep you posted.

How is your mom doing after almost a year now?
Looking to start this myself, but wanted to know long-term effects.

Exactly what I hoped to hear, as I suffer from hypersensitivity to everything, EMF, smells, foods, etc. My ND and neurologist have both recently told me to do this. Had sleep disorder since child as well, etc. etc. etc. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Hi Denver10422,

Happy to hear that your mum's okay now with help of CBD. I have read it here also https://uk.formulaswiss.com/blogs/hemp/what-is-cannabis-oil CBD and hemp are the same? I am confused though.

Hi michaeldan,
I am happy to have read it here https://de.formulaswiss.com/blogs/cbd-und-krebs/kann-cbd-ol-in-zukunft-bei-der-behand lung-von-krebs-helfen that CBD can be the answer to cancer prevention in the future.

CBD unfortunately is not a long term treatment of someone suffering from emf effects. But I do have sleep disorders and still am suffering from it. Have you ever thought of getting CBD tested for how potent THC is correct me but you do not need CBD for this cause if you are merely out smoking some CBD instead which helps your brain in the long term more often.

Well we could exchange one problem - ES- with cannabis addiction.
I have seen what cannabis does to youngsters - ends with brain damage. Also my sister was taken in by this and she spent a fortune - probably about 100,000 on cannabis oil for her breast cancer and the end she died and left the family with lots of debt.

Well, CBD works fine for me. I've been suffering from severe migraine and one friend told me about using CBD. So I tried researching about it and then finally decided to try because other painkillers don't last long enough and it's really annoying.

Probably reducing the use of your mobile would reduce your migraine attacks. As for CBD, be careful not to replace one problem with another. These chemicals are addictive and cause brain damage in the long term.

I would be careful if I were you because all sorts come to these website to push their goods.
A friend spend a lot of money having her cancer treated privately with CBD and still died.

I fear this section smells of advertising their goods, which could be very harmful. Be careful. I know of a number of people who have been on this stuff and who no longer function.

Watch the country becoming addicted to this stuff - the demise of the world as we know it. The side effect of all the wireless techs.

CBD is everywhere now, in Holland and Barret and adverts in health pages of news papers. We are going to have a nation of drug addicts. Happy days!

Anonymous,

CBD oil doesn't contain the psychoactive ingredient THC, that you'd get from smoking cannabis.

For more, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabidiol#Non-psychoactivity

These are chemicals alien to the body. The liver would have change them and kidneys remove them. There are so many self interests here - people making money - that it is difficult to know who to believe.
Low levels are probably OK but after a while the body becomes tolerant and needs more of the chemicals to have the same effect.
Anything that affects the brain is bad news.
I think I read (briefly) today that CBD is causing problems.
C.f. vaping seemed to be OK for years, no longer.

I am a SEVERELY electrosensitive person who has tried EVERYTHING for my electrosensitivity. Nothing worked. I became what is known as an "EMF refugee" unable to live, sleep or function anywhere. I left the country and slept on deserted and empty beaches in dangerous locations in Mexico...just to get away from frequency as locations without cellular service, wifi, power lines etc are near impossible to find.
Unfortunately I could not stay/live in those locations and had to return to areas with the above listed offended elements (wifi, cell service etc) and I continued to suffer.
A friend brought me a bottle of full spectrum CBD oil (CBD with THC) and for the first time in years I experienced a drastic reduction in symptoms. I recommend to anyone who is electrosensitive to take CBD. It reverses neurological damage and repairs pathways damaged by radiation and EMF's. CBD is NOT marijuana and anyone who bashes it or compares it is ignorant and uneducated on the subject, research and facts about what it is and how it really works.
You can't get "addicted" to CBD because it is not a drug...it is a supplement. Have you ever heard of anyone getting addicted to protein powder (a supplement) or vitamins (supplements)??? No.
If you are considering taking CBD, I recommend it highly.
