Hi Wokinglad.
Alastair Philips who runs Powerwatch and EMF Fields used to rent out EMF scanners/meters, (I know we rented one from him 15 years ago, when "Three" (Then H3G UK) installed a mobile mast only 20 meters from our home and place of work, which made us all so sick that we had to abandon our home and find empty offices we could rent to keep on working without everyone being sick all the time, but I could not find a rental price on EMFields website now, but anyway, here is a link to their monitors:
http://www.emfields-solutions.com/detectors/acousticom-2.asp.
this one is a middle of the road monitor, there are others, more or less advanced, but you said inexpensive, so here it is.

The Inventors of the Electro-smog pollution monitors were Sensory Perpective. They still have a website, although I do not know if the are still in business, but here is a link to the monitors their website:
https://www.detect-protect.com/spcom-dwh/ccp51/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F6230256&rnd= 6839215&rrc=N&affl=&cip=&act=&aff=&pg=cat&ref=WIRELESS-ENVIRONMENT&catstr=HOME:RF_CON SUMER

Let us know, On This Thread, how you get on.
All the best with your monitoring.
Agnes

Thanks agnes. Did you discover anything interesting with your own measurements? I also have a mast at a similar distance, though pointing away from my house at a 90 degree angle

From an answer to the product question:

"It detects electro and magnetic presence, but for a radio mast you would need a more expensive meter that also detects radio frequencies."

For £35, I wouldn't expect it to be a match for the Acoustimeter.
