AVOID SOUTH RIBBLE, LEYLAND AND CHORLEY IN LANCASHIRE
I am already electrosensitive and I find this latest news about blanket wifi coverage alarming!
Avoid moving to Leyland and Chorley in Lancashire.
The local South Ribble Borough announced last year that it intends to introduce a wifi strip across the town.
Now, the David Borrow MP and Lindsey Hoyle MP are trying to get wifi across South Ribble Borough and Chorley Borough. even worse still, they are trying to get WiFi across the whole of Lancashire.

A Parliamentary campaign has been launched to make Lancashire Britain's first wifi county by rolling out free internet access to the entire population.
MPs say free wifi access would have "countless benefits" for businesses, residents and students and provide a huge economic boost.
The suggestion has been made in an Early Day Motion tabled by Chorley MP Lindsay Hoyle and signed by South Ribble MP David Borrow and Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans.
The MPs want Lancashire County Council and the district councils to follow the example of Swindon borough council, which plans to offer free internet access to its residents.
No one within the borough boundary will be out of range of a wireless connection after April next year, when 1,400 access points will be placed on street lamps.
Mr Hoyle believes Swindon has drawn up a model which should be repeated. His EDM asks the government to back "forward thinking" projects elsewhere.

..and nevermind what it does to anyone else. Same old story. Unbelievable. All this rubbish about "valuable projects" and "forward thinking".
I'd find it all laughable if it wasn't so serious, and wrecking my life and health, not to mentions thousands (if not millions) of others.

I would like to remind all EHS sufferers and their families that these MPs who are standing for elections on Thursday this week want to blast everyone with 'free wifi' - from transmitters on lamp posts across Lancashire.
They intially propose in the EDM 403 that the wifi is installed in Chorley, South Ribble and Ribble Valley boroughs. BUT they want to extend the wifi to across the WHOLE OF LANCASHIRE.
Not all of those on the list are MPs for Lancashire boroughs.

Interestingly, there was an article in the Sunday Times last week which reported on the abnormal rate of fresh severe-disability claimants concentrated in comparitively wealthy parts of Swindon. Cases of mental health problems and general poor health have risen several times over in the last 10 years, much higher than the rest of the UK.
This was, of course, put down to the fall-out created by the recession, and loss of jobs in the area.
Hmm.

Unfortunately the effects of the recession will cloud any conclusions about the increase in mental illness.
The fact is that mental illness and related nervous conditions have been on the increase over many years especially since 2000, but this will be explained as due to the recession rather than the increase in microwave technologies.
So we are still a long way off influencing the 'powers that be' to do anything about microwave smog!
Little do they (government) realise that by reducing the use of microwave technologies will save them a great deal of money on disability claims! Because if people feel like I do when I get exposed to microwaves they become ill and go on benefits because they cannot work.

I agree, Anne...and a part of me wonders whether the previous Government knowingly created a situation (ie calamitous economic uncertainty) to allow this clouding of conclusions. It gives them an excuse for all manner of developments...for instance, no fewer than 6 or 7 properties in close promixity to the mast which is runing my health/life have gone up for sale in the past 6 months...and 3 of those in the past month, when the mast signal was augmented.
Ah, but that's the recession biting, they will say. People are having to sell their homes.
Except none of the houses further away from the mast have gone on the market.

WiFi is promoted as being good for businesses, school children and
college students. It will help towns to redevelop and grow.
In some regions there is WIMAX which is even worse.
Tourist boards recommend hotels to instal WiFi - so customers can surf the internet etc on holiday, staying on business.
Most places you go into have Wifi. British Telecom [BT] supplies DECT cordless phones and WiFi as standard with its Home Hub. Note that, unless you deliberately opt out, you are automatically opted into allowing part of your WiFi to be broadcast outside the property.
The idea is that you allow part of your allocation to be used and you can then yourself surf the net using areas of free WiFi elsewhere.
There are other suppliers. Virgin is one of them and they also automatically install WiFi.
So, effectively the street is getting covered with WiFi 24/7.
We still have a traditional hard-wired phone and use hard-wired Ethernet computer connections,
Look at the top of the street lighting and you will see antennae for WiFi - so street lighting can be remotely controlled.
The bus shelters have antennae - so that you can know the time of the next bus. The same at railway stations.
Telemedicine - WiiFi in the hospitals and clinics.
The latest phones can produce their own WiFi - it is really bad.
There is no thought for those who are harmed by the technology.

Yes. They could.
Initially, you had to opt in for the WiFi sharing, then later BT changed the rules and you have to formally opt out in writing.
Look up BTFon and you can find out where there are free WiFi hotspots.
Anywhere, any time, you can sit down by the roadside and surf the Internet. The college students can go to the local park and surf.
Local trades people wander up the street to get the best signal.

Can anyone tell me how to find out when broadband came to the valley where I live please. I have asked BT and they say they don't know and that Open Reach don't talk to the public....residents say they can't remember exactly, there's nothing recorded (that I can find) in the local paper. I would have thought it was a matter of public record.
I live in the English Lake District in the Ullswater lake valley, some of the villages in the valley are Pooley Bridge, Glenridding, Patterdale. The nearest town is Penrith, Cumbria.
Any help or advice would be very gratefully received.

perhaps ask local/ parishcouncil members?and did they have any presentations from BT?
you area is beautiful, or it was in my younger fitter days. I am EHS.
I cannot tolerate wi-fi

and similar searches with the other relevant place names
try also looking up free wifi BT Open Zone

Historic signing on broadband agreement.....what do they think it is the Magna Carta....that's my MP in the middle Rory Stewart....my home overlooks the valley with this lake in...oh and you can see the Ullswater Steamer in the background.....shame it's all being polluted with wifi.
Broadband is one of local councillors fav things....don't know I didn't think of asking before....in my defense I am so battered and bruised by all things wifi that I can barely think or function in any way.....not having a good day. Wednesday and we are all treated to a mega blasting around lunch time....and I have not recovered yet.

Society's stupidity knows no bounds. Look at that grinning idiot. These people are ruining our lives and our world. But nevermind, we can get faster and faster broadband to.....er, do what exactly. Watch films, sport, You Tube videos and porn? Oh great, where do I sign up?
Future generations - if we get that far! - will look back on this time and wonder what the hell everyone was thinking.....putting the health and ability of the human race to function at such a risk for nothing more than greed.

As for future generations, for anyone who doesn't already know...in experiments on mice they have become irreversibly sterile within five generations..when exposed to wifi.
The same could happen to humans....so perhaps there is no future for us at all if these stupid money grubbing organisations carry on poisoning us.

Pendle is set to become the first borough in Lancashire to install free Wi-Fi in its town centre.
Wi-Fi will be installed in Barnoldswickand then Colne, as two pilot areas, before hopefully being rolled ou tto other towns such as Nelson, Barrowford and Earby
