Has any one suffered from PLASMA TV,s as these are illegal as they are so dangerous but no one has told the morons who bought them they are banned now. The French health service takes them off you but in the UK no one gives a shit even if every one around them dies. SERIOUSLY! I have seen it with my own eyes.
If you use an AM radio and only get MAD pulsing for hundreds of meters in all directions then you have a plasma TV near you and it will infect all the wires in the houses for a KM radius around it. For the EHS it can cause MS and suicide and heart failures +++. Nothing much can block this filth. I have had to move house a number of times recently. Watching those around me die.
How can UK doctors be so blind? How can Ofcom not see these are pulsed transmitting devices? They were banned cos they were so bloody dangerous but the UK does nothing at all to warn of save peoples. Seriously SAD!

"Smart" TVs - with wireless internet access among other fun stuff - and blue-light LED screens are the danger. Not Plasma sets (at least not the later models).

"Smart" TVs act like a massive pulsed-radiation device, along with the home hubs, wireless heating controllers and smartphones to create an all-encompassing fug.

Exposure to LED screens is harmful to the eyes and especially anyone with EHS or, as I prefer to call it, Microwave Sickness.

Seriously you are telling me that Plasma TVs are not still killing people? Put a radio within 500 mts of a plasma TV and see what you get. They make a kw of radio filth and DO KILL and do make all around them VERY ILL and the people who are exposed do not know and are not being told what is making them ill. They have been banned from production cos they are so bloody dangerous but no one who bought them is being told to bin them. I have watched what they do to all around them and felt its effects my self. They are legalised MURDER by radiations. They are massively more KWs of death than a smart TV. This KWs is contaminating with dirty electricity every one for a thousand meters around them. JUST LOOK AT THE WATTAGE of the stupid things. I have watched them kill those I love again and again. WARN PEOPLE!

I am very interested in this as I have a plasma (however non-smart) tv. I searched on the internet but I couldn't find any information. Do you have any links?

Many thanks

Edit: I found these

Indeed it seems to be very dangerous. I will be selling the Plasma and getting a LED/LCD tv.

Thanks for bringing this up

Yes, get an LED/LCD TV, preferably with built-in WIFI and superfast broadband via a homehub with multiroom options.

That'll set you up with plenty of pulsed microwave radiation. Which is what comes from mobile phone masts. The reason for this site and this forum's existence, and the cause of mass suffering across society.

Dirty electricity, RF interference and anything else are on a different level to what this pulsed microwave radiation is doing to us all.

we know why this forum exists, so stop being sarcastic and rude and just provide any real arguments or links like I did.
You can always turn off the wifi and bluetooth of your LCD tv but you can't turn off the radiation from a Plasma screen

ericgeneric,

I agree with yiako. Sarcasm like that just isn't helpful.

Sorry yiako that I didn't notice this until now and I hope this hasn't deterred you from participating further on our forum.

Best,
Henrik (admin)

Sarcasm like that just isn't helpful.

Neither is scaremongering and misinformation (I've checked those links and I'm not the only one who is unconvinced by these claims and the science behind it).

Many times in the past, people have been pulled up by the admin for not sticking to the main topic of this forum/site. This isn't a radiation/dirty electricity forum or support resource, and to confuse the two things doesn't help anyone.

Sorry you feel that way, Henrik. I guess all the years of advice, posting and general awareness-raising doesn't actually count for much.

In the meantime, if this kind of attitude from posters towards me is to be indulged, then I am probably done here, sadly.

ericgeneric,

Alright. I didn't take time to look at those links, admittedly. I'm drowning in information.

When it comes down to the tone of postings, then no one gets special treatment.

Understand that it has nothing to do with disrespecting your time and efforts spent helping and offering valuable insights on this forum. So, please don't imply that it does.

What I objected to, re the sarcasm, was simply that I think it could've, should've been handled in a more gentle and considerate way, like just pointing out the apparent problems with said links.

Since dirty-electricity is in the radiofrequency range, it does fall within the scope of this forum.
There is scientific evidence showing that dirty-electricity worsens diabetes and multiple-sclerosis.

Henrik, thanks for the reply. As my original post in this thread says, I completely agree that all of this dirty electricity and related tech is harmful to us to varying degrees. Unfortunately, I found the tone of the response from yiako to be hectoring and unhelpful, to the point where someone else seeing the thread was under the impression that modern LED/Smart TVs are a better/safer solution.

That is unhelpful advice, hence my sarcasm. And it is also misinformed or ignorant of the evidence out there on modern TVs and home-internet set-ups fr them to suggest they are easily turned off.

We have a big enough battle on our hands with this rampant tech to let blatant misinformation - intentional or otherwise - to pass without comment. Especially when it is presented in such a hectoring manner.

my tone was hectoring and unhelpful? My tone? Really? Lol !

I was not even talking to you , I was talking to plopplop and you came out of nowhere and you were rude and sarcastic to me without any reason whatsoever

Instead of admitting that your rude and sarcastic behaviour was in fact hectoring and unhelpful, you accuse me of hectoring. Classic...

By the way, people who are genuinely interested in raising awareness, provide valid arguments and information, they do not attack or make fun of others who were not even talking to them

I think you have all missed my point. Plasma TVs are mini broadcast towers without a license and are unregulated and the authorities don't give a dam. Utility companies need to have standards for the quality of 240v AC and anyone who contaminates it should be held to account legally. This included wind turbine inputs into the system The French do this cleanly but in the UK any old dirty electricity will do. SERIOUSLY I was in a metal framed Mc Donalds near a WT. It was full of kids. There was a play pit. My meter went mad. The frame was stinking as was the hole place..

PLASMA IS PRODUCING IONISING RADIATIONS?

Does this not mean that welders plasma cutters and devices around the home like hepa filters and air ionisers are in fact dangerous to health?

Studies investigating the effects of electric fields have suggested that small charged particles, known as corona ions, which are generated by power lines, may cause health effects.

Those found in plasma displays, including TV screens.
Inside fluorescent lamps (low energy lighting), neon signs.

A corona discharge is an electrical discharge brought on by the ionization of a fluid such as air surrounding a conductor that is electrically charged. Spontaneous corona discharges occur naturally in high-voltage systems unless care is taken to limit the electric field strength. A corona will occur when the strength (potential gradient) of the electric field around a conductor is high enough to form a conductive region, but not high enough to cause electrical breakdown or arcing to nearby objects. It is often seen as a bluish (or other color) glow in the air adjacent to pointed metal conductors carrying high voltages, and emits light by the same property as a gas discharge lamp.

Coronas can generate audible and radio-frequency noise, particularly near electric power transmission lines. Therefore, power transmission equipment is designed to minimise the formation of corona discharge.

Corona discharge results when the electric field is strong enough to create a chain reaction: electrons in the air collide with atoms hard enough to ionize them, creating more electrons which ionize more atoms. See what actually happens on the gas near the electrode of highly-negative voltage with respect to ground in micro-scale in figures below. The process is:

A neutral atom or molecule, in a region of strong electric field (such as the high potential gradient near the curved electrode) is ionized by a natural environmental event (for example, being struck by an ultraviolet photon or cosmic ray particle), to create a positive ion and a free electron.

The electric field accelerates these oppositely charged particles in opposite directions, separating them, preventing their recombination, and imparting kinetic energy to each of them.
The electron has a much higher charge/mass ratio and so is accelerated to a higher velocity than the positive ion. It gains enough energy from the field that when it strikes another atom it ionizes it, knocking out another electron, and creating another positive ion. These electrons are accelerated and collide with other atoms, creating further electron/positive-ion pairs, and these electrons collide with more atoms, in a chain reaction process called an electron avalanche. Both positive and negative coronas rely on electron avalanches. In a positive corona all the electrons are attracted inward toward the nearby positive electrode and the ions are repelled outwards. In a negative corona the ions are attracted inward and the electrons are repelled outwards.

The glow of the corona is caused by electrons recombining with positive ions to form neutral atoms. When the electron falls back to its original energy level, it releases a photon of light. The photons serve to ionize other atoms, maintaining the creation of electron avalanches.

The glow of the corona is caused by electrons recombining with positive ions to form neutral atoms. When the electron falls back to its original energy level, it releases a photon of light. The photons serve to ionize other atoms, maintaining the creation of electron avalanches

At a certain distance from the electrode, the electric field becomes low enough that it no longer imparts enough energy to the electrons to ionize atoms when they collide. This is the outer edge of the corona. Outside this the ions move through the air without creating new ions. The outward moving ions are attracted to the opposite electrode and eventually reach it and combine with electrons from the electrode to become neutral atoms again, completing the circuit.

Henrik and Eric,

Re Smart tvs - I have just bought a 32" philips smart tv - the sound card isn't working on my old dell desktop 620 inspiron but as the monitor is also quite small i thought i would buy a smart tv instead.

The philips helpline said that the wi-fi could easily be disabled and i planned to hard wire it with a Cat 5 cable, but would it be that easy ? I have an old Eir router and the wifi has been disabled so thats what i would be using.

A friend has an LG smart tv and the acousticom 2 went mad in front of the sky Q box, even though the tv wifi was turned off so it seems that the Q box was giving off microwave frequencies.

There is a 14 day returns policy. Should i take a chance that i can turn off the wi-fi or stick with my old tv and hard wire it to a new desktop computer - and is there any desktops with low emfs that you could both recommend.

many thanks, Mary

Just wondering if the smart tv is like the smart phones - always searching for signals even when phone is switched off, or in the case of the tv, when the wi-fi is turned off = active scanning??

Hi Mary,

I would take the TV back, in all honesty (if you still have time). SMART TV's have so many opportunities to bring wi-fi and EMR into the home. You would be better getting a non-SMART television, and either hooking up a computer with wired ethernet (to get the internet access and interactive options), or getting an older Blu-Ray player (approx. £50-70) that doesn't have the wi-fi incoporated, connect that to the back of the TV and then plugging your wired router into its ethernet port.

SKY Q boxes likewise, you will only get blanketed in radiation from that. Older, non-wireless models are still available online. It might need a bit of setting up, but it is do-able. Nobody needs to inflict this radiation on their homes in the cause of watching TV.

EG.
