I'm new to this forum, but here is what happened to me December 19, 2010...

I had woken up with severe memory problems that morning, which seems to happen
about once a month, sometimes twice. I don't remember what day it is, what I'm
supposed to be doing, what I did the day before...

Luckily my neighbor was in the passenger seat to tell me what had happened.

Apparently I started drifting off the road...she tried to get my attention,
yelling in my ear, but I was 'zoning' and not hearing her or responding.
Apparently I was doing some things that were 'reflexive'...like I put the car in
park when we came to a stop, threw my cigarette out the window...

I ended up in a ditch though; apparently wanted to back the car up somehow and
continue driving, unaware of how serious this was that I was 'zoning' and had
ended up in a ditch with one wheel hanging over some concrete. Luckily I wasn't
driving very fast and was not yet in a high traffic area.

Had another seizure in front of the cop and ambulance people when they got
there. My BP was up some in the ambulance...they said it might be from the
stress of what had happened.

I know cell towers and the like are behind this somehow.

It's kind of freaking me out though. Thinking back, I vaguely remember hearing
my neighbor yelling in a state of panic, but I felt like I was far away, so she
sounded distant to me, and I could not respond. Also, I remember my peripheral
vision shrunk...all I was aware of was the wheel and the top portion of the hood
of my car, closest to me. Just prior to the seizure, I had a funny taste in my
mouth and felt like I was going to collapse, but my eyes were open the entire
time?

Anybody else here with absence or partial seizures?

I'm extremely EHS, too...

Hello tailz,

One of the first EHS symptoms I really noticed was a sharp pang of breathlessness - just like you'd get if you'd run a long distance, for example - accompanied by a change in my heart-rate. Then I started to experience "brain jams" any time I drove past a mobile phone mast.

For me, it is as much an ouright physical experience (as pure pressure and piercing pain) as anything else, but also - obviously as a result of that sensation - it's a failure of my brain to be able to think and remain fully aware of my surroundings. Until I get away from the EMR source, these sensations intensify.

EG.

What you describe is EXACTLY what I'd been feeling for months prior to these seizures.

First came the breathlessless and palpitations, which doctors were quick to blame on 'anxiety', even though I wasn't particularly anxious about anything at the time of these episodes.

But more recently the other symptoms, too...driving down the road, for instance, and feeling like just waaaaay too much information was coming 'at me' at one time...more than I could possibly absorb at one time in order to be able to drive safely. Or feeling like I a red light appeared out of nowhere, and having to nail the break pedal quickly to avoid a collision....and realizing I had likely been 'zoning' for this to have occurred.

You're right though...it IS a physical feeling as much as anything else. I actually had a neurologist order an MRA on me back in like September, thinking that the blood was not flowing properly through my brain. It came back normal, but then just a couple of months later I had what was undeniably several seizures? And that is scary! Was it the electricity and not the blood flow I was feeling?
