You can find this article by googling ' A Silicon Valley School that Doesn't Compute' - taken from the New York Times 22.10. 2011.
Nothing like good ole hypocrisy.
Its the same as when the scientists went to Harold McMilllan in 1946 and gave him the facts about cigarette smoking causing cancer - and he replied that it had to be kept secret as the British economy had to come before health concerns.
You can bet that that info put the frighteners not just on Harold but on the rest of his political cronies - but publicly he continued to be seen in a haze of smoke with his trusty pipe however behind closed doors he would have ensured that his children were not exposed.
Plus ca change ...
And on the subject of smart meters, Ireland is underway installing water meters across the land. My local council informed me they would operate by transponders which would be remotely viewed, powered by microwaves. Best of all Denis O'Brien, a mobile phone mogul, has won the contract put out by the Irish Gas Board.
There is no campaign here, no opt out, no nothing.
Every public agency and Human Rights organisation in Ireland, including Amnesty is funded by Mr O'Brien and the mobile phone companies which ensures that they ignore our plight.
Its all nicely stitched up - and the smell of corruption lingers in the air like sulpher.
And if anyone mentions Denis in anything other than a favourable light they are threatened with being sued - google 'Vincent O'Brien and Michael Lowry tape' or 'Sunday Independent Michael Lowry tape'.

Hi all.
Of course there is a pattern.
It is the same with All the industries who contribute heavily to the tax man and the treasury, be it tobacco, asbestos, pharma (remember thalidomid f. inst), alcohol (at the moment filling up the A&E units every weekend, and loads of hospitalizesd long time sick´s), leaded petrol (not that I think unleaded is any Healthier) and now microwave radiation.
Most of these have already been admitted as Carcinogenics and a real danger to human health, either themselves or the health effects they cause.
In time microwave radiation will be added to this list, but I a afraid only after the national health systems will come near braking point with the victims of this pollution needing treatment, and mass deaths, but most importantly it will Get Too Costly!
Only then will there be a reaction!
But lets cross our fingers and hope that there are politicians out there who actually DO take the concern for their constituants seriously and start listening to us when we write to them with our concerns.
And the same goes for the Media, of every description.

Here is a new (old-2008) one from SWEDEN.
If EON can do it there they sure can do it here, and so can all the other British (and everyone else´s) utilities:
