LNB = Low Noise Block down-converter
LNBF = Low Noise Block down-converter plus Feedhorn

If a satellite dish that is nearby has the LNB or LNBF skewed to one side so that it is pointing at you. Can it do harm?

I am having symptoms of skin burning no matter how cold I turn the AC on and looked out and saw that the LNB LNBF is pointing directly through my bedroom window. I also have abdominal pain.

birdy3,

You mean this part of the dish?

LNB's should be encapsulated in thick metal boxes to minimize noise, so if that's the case with your dish, I doubt any signal could escape it.

Perhaps you can send a photo of the dish to: webmaster@mast-victims.org
