How Did I Become Allergic To Technology?

Last June I borrowed a 4G modem from a friend. One night I fell asleep with it on, right beside me. The next morning when I woke up I experienced some unusual symptoms; notably a tingling, prickly sensation on my skin. I soon realized that I only felt this way when I was close to the 4G modem. After my initial denial, I researched my symptoms online and learned that these symptoms are often attributed to a condition called electrical sensitivity. The responses I got from doctors and close friends led me to believe that this condition was non-existent and purely psychological. So I continued my life, using cell phones, Wi-Fi, and computers until one day in December the unthinkable occurred- the symptoms came back. This time I knew electrical hypersensitivity was real. I started doing in-depth research and was startled by my findings. Buried in forums and new archives were the cries of thousands who had become sensitive and were experiencing these unusual symptoms. Before I could seek any help I fell terribly ill, had to quit my job, and had to leave my home, friends, gadgets- my whole life behind to get away from all the technology that was making me sick. Since then I have been all over Jamaica seeking relief and now am at a remote location in Guts River, Manchester which is relatively safe.
