My Symptoms Didn't Start In Earnest Until 1980. Created: 20 May 2014
I may have had other symptoms along but I guess they weren't bad enough to make me take notice or be uncomfortable. But around 1982 I began having ringing in my ears. I had some hearing loss in my left ear. The doctor I had visited suspected a brain tumor and I was sent to a university hospital for tests. They injected "air" into my spine, which went to my brain and I was given a CAT scan. I had to lay flat on my back and no pillow for I believe it was either 12 hours or 24 hours. I felt okay leaving the hospital but halfway home there was this popping sound in my head and then I had a pain in my head, so bad I thought death would be agreeable at that point. I got home and went right to bed and was able to sleep. Anyway, after all that it was determined I had tinnitus. Which I still have the ringing, buzzing, hissing, sometimes whistling in my ears. Now it's all those sounds plus a humming and sometimes the humming is so loud I swear others should be able to hear it.

All of my symptoms are at this point I'm sure not Mast related but it's coming!

When I Believe It All Began Created: 20 May 2014
My Electromagnetic Hyper-Sensitivity (EHS) symptoms started somewhere between 1992 and 1994. Although, I didn't know there was a name for it. At the time I didn't have a clue what was happening and life was bearable. During this time is when sleep deprivation began.
