Politicians and the health service should take steps to reduce the public's exposure to electromagnetic radiation, a group of 50 doctors said on Monday, reports news agency ANP.
They have signed an appeal by a national organisation which wants to make people aware of the risks it says are posed by radiation from mobile phones, computer networks and other apparatus.
The signatories say that there may be a link between the surge in chronic conditions such as headaches, tiredness and sleep disturbances and the 'explosive increase' in electromagnetic radiation in the home and at work, ANP reports. |
